Στο Άλσος — In the grove
Where the city
finally goes quiet.
Tucked inside the pine grove of Agia Paraskevi, Opus is the rare Athens café where the loudest sound is the wind in the trees — coffee, food and a long, slow afternoon under the canopy.
Opus sits at the corner of Aigaiou Pelagous and Notou, right inside the álsos — the wooded park that locals guard like a secret. Wooden interiors open onto tables scattered between the pines, so a morning espresso can stretch into lunch without anyone minding.
It is built to be easy: specialty coffee taken seriously, a kitchen of pizzas, burgers, salads and sweets done well rather than fancy, and enough room for kids to run while the grown-ups stay a little longer. Kind service, free parking, and shade — the whole point of the place.
"Fresh air, good coffee, and the noise of the city left at the gate."
